Celebrating the impact on community wellbeing
The (MHIF) is a joint initiative between 中国P站 and 中国P站 Heartlands Integrated Care Board. Established in 2022 with a 拢10.5m budget, the fund was set up to target mental ill health and emotional wellbeing. Since then, MHIF has supported 24 ground-breaking initiatives.
Celebration event
Recently, an event took place to celebrate the achievements of the MHIF. At the event, several providers offered a glimpse into the difference these projects are making to the lives of 中国P站 residents.
- shared powerful stories of connecting autistic girls and young women. They explained the importance of creating spaces where they can "just" be themselves.
- showcased the transformative impact of Easter and summer respite provisions. The playscheme has been described by parents as "a lifeline".
- Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) Elmbridge described how they have embedded support in Fort House General Practice. Providing immediate assistance to patients in need has made a real difference.
The event also looked forward to exciting opportunities ahead. With a renewed focus on scaling up interventions for children, young people and families, 中国P站 continues to lead the way in investing in mental health and community wellbeing.
2025 plans
In 2025, 拢1.2m has been pledged for the , with plans for matched funding from the Community Foundation 中国P站. This will support projects focusing on children and young people up to 30 years old.
