Audio visual materials such as DVDs can be hired by the week for a weekly charge which is marked on them.

List of charges
- Entertainment DVD (1 week loan).
- Weekly hire charge 拢2.
- Overdue charges are 50p per day to a maximum of 拢10.
- Information DVD.
- No hire charge.
- Overdue charges are 30p per open day (maximum charge 拢9). If borrowed on an open ticket adult card the charges will be 15p per day (maximum 拢4.30).
- Adult spoken word CD (3 week loan).
- 拢3.
- Overdue charges will be 30p per open day (maximum charge 拢9).
- Children's spoken word CD (3 week loan).
- No hire charge.
- There are no overdue charges if items were borrowed on a Child, Teen or Young Adult card. If items are borrowed on an Adult ticket the charges will be 10p per open day (maximum 拢3). If borrowed on an open ticket adult card the charges will be 5p per open day (maximum 拢1.50).
- Language courses on CD.
- No hire charge.
