Course intent
This course explores the fascinating subject of psychology through topics that are relevant to our understanding of contemporary society.
What will I learn?
Each term, you learn about a range of topics which will give you an insight into the way people think and behave from different perspectives.
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
This course is ideal for those who wish to study psychology for interest, or for those wishing to gain some experience of the subject before embarking on further studies. Whilst topics are covered at an introductory level, some background knowledge of psychology would be advantageous.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
We recommend bringing pen and paper to every lesson to make notes. You may also find it helpfully to have a folder to keep copies of the presentation notes.
What can I do when I finish the course?
You can enrol to other psychology courses. Your tutor will advise you on the options available to you.
