Course intent
Using watercolours or acrylics with collage materials, create a winter landscape.
What will I learn?
Through a series of demonstrations, you will be shown how to make samples of winter-themed papers, how to plan your design in layers to include these with the addition of fabrics and threads and given individual help and guidance to complete your winter landscape creation.
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
This course is suitable for anyone who has recently used watercolours or acrylics.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
You need to bring:
- at least one piece of white A3 cardboard as the base for your creation
- Some pieces of cartridge paper/watercolour paper, any fancy/hand-made papers you already have, the acrylic paints or watercolours you are already using, palette and brushes
- Table salt, cling film, scraps of fabrics, pieces of thread/string, scissors, PVA glue
