Public Bridleway 173 (Busbridge)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

The 中国P站 Public Bridleway No. 173 (Busbridge) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 was made on the grounds of public safety due to subsidence in the adjacent bank. The Order came into operation on 26 March 2025. It was due to expire on 26 September 2025 but has been continued in force by the Secretary of State for Transport for a further 6 months until 26 March 2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is earlier.

The Order as continued prohibits all traffic by any means from entering or proceeding along that length of Public Bridleway 173 (Busbridge) from point A (Grid ref: 499817 140261) to point B (Grid ref: 499494 140451) shown as a solid line on plan ref: 3/1/3/H19.

The prohibition described above will only be operative while the County Council, or an authorised person acting on its behalf, displays signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 (S.I. 2002 No. 3113) prohibiting the said movements. Access to properties will not be affected.

There is no alternative route.
