Special Rhymetime at Oxted Library for National Storytelling Week

Saturday 8 February 10.30am to 11am.

Suitable for under fives.

Event free.

Half term crafternoons

Make a frog toilet roll pen holder

Saturday 15 February, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.

No need to book, just drop in.

Suitable for ages 5+.

Cost: 拢1.50 per child.

Active storytime and craft

Thursday 20 February from 10.30amto 11.00am.

What's your favourite BookTrust story? Come and listen and then vote for your favourite!

Suitable for under fives. Free of charge, no need to book.

Make Mini Koinobori – Japanese flying carp

Thursday 20 February, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.

No need to book, just drop in.

Suitable for ages 5+.

Cost: 拢1.50 per child.

Explore Learning half term event

"A spring in your step"

Wednesday 19 February, from 11am to 12 noon

Come and join us for a free community workshop at Oxted Library and improve your child's reading and comprehension skills with Explore Learning!

Suitable for ages 7 to 9.

Booking necessary.

Please book online or if unable to book online, book in Oxted Library.

Oxted Library coffee, craft and chat for adults

Thursday 27 February, from 2pm to 3.30pm

Come and share a joke, meet old friends and make new ones and have a go at stone painting.

There will also be Fraud Scam Awareness help from Tandridge District Council.

Cost: 拢1.50 with tea and coffee provided!

World book day

Oxted Library are holding the following events in celebration of World Book Day, Thursday 6 March.

Crafternoon

Make a mask for World Book Day!

Saturday 1 March, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm

No need to book Drop in

Suitable for ages 5+.

Cost: 拢1.50 per child.

Little Red Riding Hood puppet show

Thursday 6 March, from 2.15pm to 2.45pm

Suitable for under fives.

Free of charge though donations welcome!

An Evening with local author G R Pidgeon

G R Pidgeon will be talking about his brand new dark gothic historical mystery "The Haunting of Hern Hall".

Thursday 27 March, from 7pm to 8pm

Cost: 拢2, includes refreshments.

Every Friday at 10.30am.

Spaces are limited, tickets are available in library on the day from 10am.

Other events

Meet up and catch up - Sensory Services by Sight for 中国P站

Join Sight for 中国P站 with our new informal meet ups. Supporting people who are blind, vision impaired, deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing.

Session will be held monthly on Wednesdays between 10am to 12 noon. Upcoming dates: please check with the library.

Adult board games club

Every Wednesday from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Drop in and play a board game, bring your own or play one of ours.

Free of charge.

Lego club

Every Wednesday from 3.45pm until 4.30pm during term time.

Suitable for ages Age 4+.

Cost: 拢1.25 per per child, per session.

Next terms sessions start on 26 February and finish on 2 April.

Please book from Tuesday 18 February at 9.30am, either by emailing oxted.library@surreycc.gov.uk or at the help desk.

No drop ins. Please book to avoid disappointment.

Build a story

Every Thursday during term time, from 2.15pm to 2.45pm.

Stories, songs and DUPLO play.

Suitable for children aged under 5. No booking necessary. Sessions free.

Knit and natter

Last Wednesday of the month from 10.30am to 12 noon.

Free of charge. Bring your own project to work on or just come for a chat!

Digital Support Volunteer

Every Thursday from 10am and 1pm.

Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?

Our Digital Support Volunteer is available to help you on, please book your appointment in the library or by emailing oxted.library@surreycc.gov.uk.
