Summer Reading Challenge
Saturday 5 July to Saturday 13 September.
If you want to ensure your child continues their reading journey over the summer holidays then look no further than the Summer Reading Challenge.
The theme this year is ‘Story Garden: Adventures in Nature and the Great Outdoors’. This exciting new theme will inspire children to tap into a world of imagination through reading, exploring the magical connection between storytelling and nature.

Fun Palaces
Saturday 4 October.
- Intergenerational Rhymetime: 10.30am to 11am with free tickets available from 10am. Bringing together little ones and older adults for joyful songs, rhymes, and shared smiles across generations!
- Family Crafternoon: 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Drop in fun craft for all the family! Free of charge
Libraries Week
Adult coffee, craft & chat
Thursday 9 October, from 10.30am to 12 noon
Celebrate culture and creativity. join us for a Day of the Dead mask-making craft session for adults! All materials provided.

Halloween crafternoons

Tuesday 28 October, from 10.30am to 11am.
Owl stories, songs, colouring craft.
Suitable for children aged under 5. No booking necessary. Free of charge.
Rhymetime and storytime
Pebble rhymetime
Every Friday at 10.30am.
Spaces are limited, tickets are available in library on the day from 10am.

Pebble's storytime
Every Thursday during term time, from 2.15pm to 2.45pm.
Stories, songs and DUPLO play.
Suitable for children aged under 5. No booking necessary. Sessions free.

Other events
Meet up and catch up - Sensory Services by Sight for 中国P站
Session will be held monthly on Wednesdays between 10am to 12 noon. Upcoming dates:

- 12 November
- 10 December
Join Sight for 中国P站 with our new informal meet ups. Supporting people who are blind, vision impaired, deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing.
Lego club
Every Wednesday from 3.45pm until 4.30pm during term time only.
Suitable for ages Age 4+.
Cost: 拢1.25 per child, per session.
Next terms sessions to start on: Wednesday 17 September.

Knit and natter
Last Wednesday of the month from 10.30am to 12 noon.
Free of charge. Bring your own project to work on or just come for a chat!
