Farnham literary festival
Farnham Library is hosting the following author events in support of the .

Paper rose bouquet
Saturday 15 March, from 11am to 1pm.
Learn how to make a bouquet of paper roses to give as a gift or to decorate your home, no water required and they last forever!
Cost: 拢10 per person. Suitable for ages 16+.
Scam awareness
Come and speak to Trading Standards about how to prevent scams. Upcoming dates:
- Monday 17 March, from 10.30am to 12 noon.
- Friday 25 April, from 10.30am to 12 noon.
Mother's Day craft
Wednesday 26 March from 3.45pm until 4.45pm.
Come and make some beautiful tissue paper flowers for someone special.
Suitable for ages 5 years old and over. Cost is 拢3 per child and can be booked in advance. Sign up at the library or email farnham.library@surreycc.gov.uk.
Fabric wall hanging
Saturday 5 April from 11am until 12noon.
Create a piece of art for your wall using a beautiful selection of fabric scraps, donated by local businesses. All hung from a wooden hanger, specially selected from a local garden.
Suitable for ages 6 years old and over. Cost is 拢3 per child and can be booked in advance. Sign up at the library or email farnham.library@surreycc.gov.uk.
Jumping easter bunny craft
Wednesday 16 April from 11.30am until 12.30pm.
Join us to make a jumping easter bunny!
Suitable for ages 4 years old and over. Cost is 拢2 per child and can be booked in advance. Sign up at the library or email farnham.library@surreycc.gov.uk.
Penguin craft
Thursday 24 April from 3.45pm until 4.45pm.
To celebrate world penguin day come and make your own penguin from recycled cardboard tubes.
Suitable for ages 4 years old and over. Cost is 拢2 per child and can be booked in advance. Sign up at the library or email farnham.library@surreycc.gov.uk.

No booking necessary: Maximum of 25 children, tickets allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Reading groups
Young Adult book group
Second Tuesday of every month from 5.45pm until 6.45pm.
Aimed at those aged 18 to 30.
We have two book choices every month, so you can read whatever takes your fancy, or read both!
Next meeting: to be confirmed.
The group is free, just turn up. If it's your first time attending, bring along a book that you've enjoyed recently to talk about. Farnham Library provides the books for upcoming meetings. If you missed the meeting but would like to read one of the books for the next meeting, please ask at the helpdesk and we will grab you a copy.

Teen Book Club

Reading Friends non-fiction Friday
First Friday of every month at 10.30am.

Do you love non-fiction books? Like the idea of a book group but not being set a particular book every month? Want to meet more people in your community?
Join us for Non-Fiction Friday to discuss books within the theme of the month, and to share your own stories over a cup of tea or coffee.
Every month the group collectively decide on a theme, and we will have a display featuring some suggested reads under that theme. Our Library Assistants can assist with ordering Large Print Books, Talking Books and books of your choice. Free tea and coffee will be available. The meet will last approximately an hour.

Chatterbooks reading group
Meets on second Saturday of the month from 11am until 12 noon.
The Chatterbooks reading group is suitable for ages 7 to 12 years. The book for each session can be obtained from the front desk when you sign up. For more details, please ask in the library.

Every Thursday, from 10.15am to 11.45am
Toys, games, puzzles and Duplo - play and make new friends!
Aimed at under 5s.
No need to book, this is a free drop-in session.
Stitch and chat
Every Friday 10am until 12 noon
This is a free drop-in session.
Digital support volunteer
Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?
Please book an appointment to see one of our Digital support volunteers. Available:
- every Monday from 2pm to 4pm. Drop in during this time but appointments are recommended if you have something specific you need help with.
- every Thursday from 10am until 12 noon. Appointments only
