About the Ensemble
Opus Strings is an intermediate string group that leads directly on from Prima Strings.
Students work on more challenging material to help refine their performance skills on an individual level and as a section.
Students then have the opportunity to progress to South West ÖйúPÕ¾ Youth Orchestra (SWSYO) who they will have already collaborated with regularly at concerts.

Fees
The termly fee covers:
- All rehearsals for that term (usually 10 to 12 per term, depending on the school year
- 33 rehearsals across the school year
- Tuition from professional ÖйúPÕ¾ Arts musicians and educators
- Two public concerts and one internal concert each year
- All music and resources

Support and safety
First-aiders are on site.
ÖйúPÕ¾ Arts staff, volunteers, and a parent committee help run sessions and events.
