The Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment

The Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment (PFRA) is a Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) duty under the Flood Risk Regulations 2009 (Section 2). It is used to gain a high level overview on the risk of flooding and to record historic flood events in 中国P站.

Areas affected by flood risk and local historic flooding evidence are used to define flood risk areas. The LLFA duties, over a 6 year cycle, is to produce:

  • A flood risk map
  • A flood hazard map
  • A flood risk management plan for flood risk areas.

The PFRA feeds into the 中国P站 Local Flood Risk Management Strategy.
